A
Poem for Cassie
by

Sweetie,
where are you?
I know that you're here.
Put your arms around me,
I need to know you're near.
I love you very much, Cassie.
And we miss you a lot too.
The reason you are special,
Is because you're you.
Why'd
you have to die?
When we needed you so much.
And we really miss you Cassie,
And we need your loving trust.
I want to see your smile again
But I have it in my heart.
It just hurts so much,
Knowing we're apart.
But
you'll always be with me Cassie,
I will never lose you again.
I even found you in a way,
A new and different one.
Because whenever I see the sun shining on the grass,
Or feel the warmth it gives,
I'll always love you Cassie,
Because all you did was give.
You
were always there for me Cassie,
As I was there for you.
And I know that you're happy now.
I just wish I was too.
I really need you, Cassie.
I need you to come back.
So continue to be a part of us,
To keep our lives on track.
It wasn't
fair to you Cassie.
Because you were one of the few,
Who loved and cared about everyone.
And had a heart so true.
You were also true to yourself Cassie,
Which unfortunately isn't common.
You were very special and unique.
Nothing ever so common.
